Giveaway: General Mills Cereal (5 Boxes) 3/7

Did you know that you are suppose to have at minimum 48 grams of whole grains in your diet everyday.  I think I get enough but I also have never counted the grams of whole grains found in the food I eat in a day.  I just try and make sure that whole grains are the first ingredients in foods I eat.  I always check our cereals, crackers, breads and such.  I will admit it is not always the first ingredients in everything I eat but if I have to choose between two products the one with whole grains closer to the top wins.  General Mills is making it easier to pick products with whole grains are the first ingredient.  Just look for the white check on the front of their products.  A white check means that whole grains are the first ingerients, which is what I want for my family and myself. 

We were sent five boxes of General Mills cereal with the white check on the front.  Besides Total, these are the cereals I buy all the time for my family.  I had never tried Total before, but now it is a family staple.  I already had to get another box after we finished the box sent to us.  Acutally we already finished all five boxes.  My family loves cereal.  We have them for breakfast, snack, dessert, in their lunch and as an alternative to dinner if they really don't like what I made.  Let's just say that I buy a lot of cereal!  now I know that if I see the white check whole grains will be the first ingredient and I don't need to take extra time and read the side too.
