Princess A had two entries (the maximum allowed) for this year's PTA Reflections Art Contest. Here she is about to receive her certificate and two ribbons (one for each entry). I believe she was the only first grader to have more than one entry.
We all went to cheer Princess A on. She was also told that her photograph was chosen to compete at district level, just like last year. Each of the students was celebrated, we saw all of the art and had some cake.
Here is the picture she drew. The theme this year is "Beauty."Princess A drew and wrote "Beauty is a hors."
We were unable to bring her photograph home since it is still in the competition.
